Military

The Military industry as a whole has most of the same applications as in the domestic market but the applications are much more arduous.  The number of bolted joints in this industry is for nominal but the most important part is ensuring the security of these bolted joints so that the military equipment does not break down in the field due to a loose bolt.

The testing for the Military Industry is also a critical part of the process to ensure that products applied to other markets are suitable for the Military Environments too.  Our WL Series wedge locking washers have gone through additional testing and comply to MIL-STD-1312-7 meaning they are suitable for the most arduous of Military applications.

The applications that the WL Series wedge locking washers would be used on are subjected to vibrations and dynamic loadings.  These applications would include the securing or armoured plate to the outside of vehicles, securing the fasteners holding the tracks to tracked vehicles, connections inside of guns as well as applications on cameras and drones.
